Paintball Frequently Asked Questions
If this is your first time playing paintball or if you have played a few times already but you may still have a few questions. So we have put together a few of the commonly most asked questions we get asked on or off the field. If you can not find your answer here give us a call or ask us at the field we will be glad to help.
1. Does it hurt when you get shot with a paintball?
Answer: Most people over think this question and fear that it will hurt a lot when they get hit. To be honest when you are running around and your adrenaline is going you sometimes don't even really feel it. Yes some shots to certain sensitive areas hurt a little more and they can leave a small bruise. This is where wearing the appropriate clothes helps. Think of like getting snapped by a rubber band.
2. What should I wear to play paintball?
Answer: You should wear loose durable fitting clothing that doesn't not restrict your movement like running, crouching. sliding or crawling. Remember that you will get dirty so bring clothes that you don't mind getting dirty or paintballs on. Also good footwear is advisable since you will be playing on various terrain in the woods. Wear clothing appropriate for the weather conditions and try to cover all exposed skin that may get hit by a paintball. We have camo jump suits, gloves, neck protectors and hats available at the field for purchase.
3. What other items should I bring?
Answer: An extra pair of shoes and clothes to change if needed, sometimes our fields can get a little muddy. We are an outdoors field only. During the summer months bug spray helps with the pests, but apply before putting on your gear. Most importantly do not apply to your paintball mask since some bug sprays may ruin or compromise the safety of the goggles of the paintball mask and or plastics.
4. How old do I have to be to play Paintball?
Answer: The minimum age limit to play at Paintball Sportsland is ten (10) years old and a waiver must be signed by the parent or legal guardian.
